Since 2003, hundreds of children and families attend Lids for Kids every year. With your help, we can continue making a real difference in our communities.
Ways to Get Involved
Community partners may choose one or more ways to participate:
- Host a booth with a fun activity and/or kid-friendly giveaways
- Donate a bicycle to be raffled off to a child
- Volunteer as a bike helmet fitter, ensuring children receive properly sized bike helmets
Every role helps create a memorable and impactful Lids for Kids event for families.
Why Lids for Kids Matters
Free, Custom-Fitted Bike Helmets Wearing a properly fitted helmet is the single most important way to prevent head and brain injuries in bike crashes. Yet only about 15% of children aged 14 and under consistently wear helmets. Since our first Lids for Kids event in 2003, Sinas Dramis has provided more than 14,000 free, custom-fitted helmets to children! Bike Safety Education Throughout each two-hour event, families learn essential bike safety tips—from the proper fitting and bike sizing to rules of the road. Injury prevention is at the heart of everything we do at Sinas Dramis Law Firm. Fun, Hands-on Activities With the help of local organizations and businesses, kids enjoy activities at our Lids for Kids events, such as face painting, games, coloring, and more. Learning is always better when it’s fun! Free Bicycles Every child deserves a bike that fits their age and size. Through generous bike donations from businesses, organizations, and individuals, we’re able to give away free bicycles at every Lids for Kids event, helping ensure more kids can ride safely.
